Dispatch board

See the next pickup. Know who is taking it.

We put your transfers, drivers and unassigned rides on one daily board. Move a job to a driver, check the warnings and see whether they have acknowledged it before the pickup becomes urgent.

Included in every plan

  • One timeline for the team
  • Unassigned rides stay visible
  • Manual dispatch from Starter

Plan the day

A driver's day beside the work still waiting

At the desk, the first question is practical: which pickup still needs someone? Start with the unassigned queue, then compare the drivers' lanes on the same clock.

  • One shared timeline

Read every driver's jobs against the same hours. Zoom the board to inspect a busy period or step back to understand the whole day.

  • An ordered pickup queue

Unassigned rides sit together by pickup hour. Narrow the queue to the hour you are covering and keep later work in view when you clear it.

  • Assign from the board

Drag a ride onto a driver's lane on desktop, or use the driver picker. The assignment updates the booking you already work with.

  • Details before you assign

Inspect the route, client, passenger count, flight number and client note in the ride preview before deciding who should take the job.

  • Duty hours in context

The board shades hours outside a driver's recorded availability. Their shifts and days off come from the same roster the schedule screen uses.

  • Move between operating days

Open another date to prepare tomorrow's transfers or return to today. The timeline follows your company's clock, including pickups in the early hours.

Keep the plan workable

See the exceptions while you can still act

An assigned name is only part of dispatch. We show overlapping work, recorded duty hours and whether a driver has acknowledged a job, so you know what needs attention next.

  • Warnings with the assignment

Check clashes with other jobs, vehicle capacity and duty hours when you assign. The response explains the issue so you can review the booking.

  • Receipt is separate from assignment

Spot rides whose receipt the driver has not acknowledged. Assignment and acknowledgement are shown separately, helping you follow up on a job still awaiting confirmation.

  • Focus on the exceptions

Use the conflict, unacknowledged or active ride filters to focus the board. Other work stays in context instead of disappearing from the day's plan.

  • Work from a phone

Use the driver picker and touch actions when away from the desk. You can open a ride or remove its driver through a confirmation.

  • Driver suggestions from Pro

On Pro, compare suggested drivers and their reasons. The ranking considers availability, location when known, vehicle match and workload before you choose.

  • Batch assignment from Pro

Ask Pro to assign eligible unassigned rides for the day. Review the assigned and skipped counts; a ride without a suitable driver still needs your attention.

Frequently asked questions

Which plan includes the dispatch board?

The dispatch board and manual driver assignment are available from Starter. Driver suggestions and batch automatic assignment require Pro or above. Drivers and vehicles are unlimited on every plan, so recording another chauffeur or car does not mean buying another driver or vehicle allowance.

Does moving a ride change the pickup time?

Dragging a ride between driver lanes changes its assignment, not the passenger's pickup time. To change when a transfer takes place, open and edit the booking. This keeps a staffing decision separate from a schedule change that affects the customer and the rest of the job.

Does the board prevent every scheduling conflict?

We flag overlapping work and check assignments against recorded jobs, vehicle capacity and the driver roster. Some situations require confirmation or are refused under your capacity rules; duty warnings remain visible for the office to assess. The checks depend on the times, journey details and availability you record.

How do I know a driver has received the job?

The board shows receipt acknowledgement separately from assignment. Opening the job in the driver app records that acknowledgement; a driver using a job link confirms receipt on the page. Use the unacknowledged filter to find rides needing follow-up. Receipt does not mean the journey has started, so active rides have their own indication.

Can I dispatch without filling in every shift?

Yes. A day with no roster entry or standard weekly pattern is treated as unknown availability, not a day off. You can assign rides and add working hours as you need them. Once you record shifts, the board shows those boundaries and assignment checks use them.
