Recurring rides

The regular pickup belongs on the board already

Your client needs the same pickup every Monday. Set the route, time and schedule once: we create the upcoming bookings so your office can plan drivers alongside the rest of the day’s work.

Included from the Pro plan

  • Daily, weekly or monthly
  • Bookings created ahead
  • Each ride stays editable

Set the pattern

Turn the standing agreement into a working schedule

A regular client should not mean another round of copying last week’s booking. Give the series a name your office recognises, then record what stays the same across its rides.

  • Choose the right rhythm

Run daily, on selected weekdays, every other week or on a monthly date. Add a start date and an optional end date for the agreement.

  • Keep the route together

Store pickup and destination with the client, vehicle type and internal notes. Upcoming bookings carry the details your office would otherwise enter again for every date.

  • Name a regular driver

Choose a driver and vehicle for the series when the arrangement is fixed. You can also leave assignment to dispatch when coverage changes from day to day.

  • Choose how far ahead

Set a booking horizon from one to thirty days. Saving an active series creates eligible upcoming rides within that window; the daily run keeps adding the next dates.

See what comes next

Read the dates, not just the repeat rule

Once the series is saved, its upcoming dates show what has become a booking and what is still planned. Start with fourteen days and extend the view up to ninety.

  • Open the actual booking

A created ride links to its booking. Open it to check the assignment, adjust that day’s details or handle an exception using your normal dispatch workflow.

  • Tell planned from created

The preview separates created bookings, planned dates, paused dates and skipped occurrences. You can see whether a future date already has an order behind it.

  • Spot roster warnings

When the series names a driver, we check their recorded roster for days off and pickups outside their shift. These warnings help your office arrange cover.

  • Keep time in context

The schedule uses your company’s time zone and displays it with the preview. Online booking closures and opening hours appear as information for your office to review.

Handle the exceptions

A regular service still needs everyday decisions

A client changes a pickup time, a driver takes leave, or the arrangement pauses. Keep the standing schedule and the bookings it has already created clear to the people running the day.

  • Change one particular ride

Edit the generated booking when just one date needs a different pickup or driver. The series remains the source for other bookings created from its schedule.

  • Edit the standing arrangement

Change the series for bookings still to be created. Existing bookings keep their details, while the preview flags pickup times or dates that differ from the current schedule.

  • Pause further booking creation

Pause a series to stop new rides being generated, then resume it when the agreement restarts. Review already created bookings separately if those rides also need cancelling.

  • Give drivers timely notice

Assigned upcoming rides are handed to their drivers within the notification window covering today and the next two days, so creating a month ahead does not announce every ride at once.

Frequently asked questions

Which schedules can I set?

Choose daily, weekly, every other week or monthly. Weekly and fortnightly schedules let you select weekdays; monthly schedules use a day from the first to the twenty-eighth. Each series has a pickup time, a start date and an optional end date. The schedule follows the company’s time zone.

When do the bookings appear?

Saving an active series creates eligible future bookings within your chosen horizon of one to thirty days. The daily run extends that window as time passes. Resuming a series also creates upcoming rides. Pickups that have already passed are not added as late bookings, and existing rides for the same date are not duplicated.

Does editing the series update existing bookings?

No. A change to the series applies to bookings that have yet to be created. If a ride already exists, open that booking to change it. The preview highlights existing rides with a different pickup time or a date no longer included in the schedule, helping you find the exceptions that need attention.

What do the preview warnings check?

We compare scheduled pickups with the assigned driver’s recorded roster and your online booking calendar rules. The preview can show a day off, a pickup outside a shift, or a closed booking window. These are advisory checks. A date without a warning does not guarantee driver availability or reserve capacity for the ride.

Does pausing a series cancel its rides?

Pausing stops further booking creation. Rides already created remain on the board and need to be reviewed individually if the client no longer wants them. When you resume, future eligible dates are generated again; pickups that passed during the pause are not recreated as if they had taken place.
